The Happy Camel Provides Healthier Milk

Scientists are agreed that the products, especially milk coming from a happy and comfortable animal are far better than the animal in distressed conditions with a sad feeling. Now it is yours’ choice, either you take milk from a happy animal or a sad animal as both types are available in the market. The camel farming is extensive, natural, eco-friendly and stress-free.

The Happy Animal: Camel farming is very eco-friendly, natural, clean, dry & airy, shiny and completely free of any foul smell. This clean environment ensures the quality of livelihood of the camel and the absence of pathogenic microorganisms. Camel is really a lucky and happy animal living in such a great place of living.Image result for raziq camel dairy farm uae

Consuming less water, adapted to high ambient temperatures make this animal even more special and adapted happy animal. In the same climatic zone, the dairy cow needs a lot of water for drinking, cooling and cleaning purposes, may be more than 5 times compared to the camel. The milk produced from a happy animal (here happy animal means camel) is very rich in nutrients than sad animals. The overall environment where animals are raised has an additional effect on milk quality.

Additionally, the camel’s milk quality is entirely different, especially in the context of micro but essential nutrients. For details, please go to the link below; Camel! A One in All Creatures.

“Camel milk protein is coated with fats, which enhance protein absorption. It passes the acidic stomach undisturbed (does not coagulate easily because of fat coating) and reaches the intestines for absorption”.

Even if she lives in very natural condition her milk is not equal to the milk of camels. Camel is the special gift of nature and the milk is the treasure of health. Let’s live natural health and promote the natural way of life.

Lets’ join our efforts to promote camel’s products especially milk. The Camels4Life is struggling for the advocacy of camel and camel’s keepers. Alain Doctor Sees Potential in Camel, Camel is the future of humankind to secure food availability in the climate change scenario.

I'am advocating camel under the theme of CAMEL4LIFE and believe in camel potential. Camel4life is a camel think tank with a website and WhatsApp group, advocating camel at the policy level. I'm the founder of World Camel Day and the Camel Association of Pakistan. I also work as a freelance scientist covering the above-mentioned thematic areas. I'm also doing camel dairying consultancies. I’m an ethnoecologist, ethnobotanist, Ethnovet, and ethnomedicine researcher and reviewer. I explore deserts and grazing lands for knowledge and understanding.

  1. why can’t we just not have milk? rather than squeezing it out of a different animal. Sounds pretty weird to me, adults that can’t live without a mother’s milk? A mother that isn’t even theirs? Or the same species? What the hell is going on??

    1. Hi Simpson,
Your point of view is also prevailing in different quarters of the world, especially the rich nations. The milk is the most important food item for millions of people in the world and had been in use since thousands of years.

      1. Of course! the rich nations must take responsibility and begin to make less damaging decisions- such as not using animals for their labour, skin, fur, or flesh. And not using milk designed for young animals.
Milk is important only for infants and for those who have no choice, but that is unlikely to be the case for those choosing camel milk for its “health promising characteristics”. And hoping that using camels instead of cows in the fight against climate change is simply nonsense- the answer is to stop using ‘livestock’.

      2. Hi Simpson,
Animals’ products are the crucial part of the food systems at global level and specifically for the developing countries where million of people are depending on livestock products like meat and milk etc.
Milk is being used since thousands of years. Among the milk production systems, camel milk is the sustainable and have lesser impact on the climate.

      3. Yes, they are crucial only for those who have no other choice- but that is not the reality for those in the West and in developed countries. Milk being used for thousands of years is not much relevant- as people have been doing many things for thousands of years, such as raping and murdering and stealing, and the length of time we’ve been doing something doesn’t make it right.
I know nothing of camels in particular, merely that people worrying about the health benefits of an animals secretion could probably go ahead and have something else instead.

      5. Simpson, I just am pasting the comments of a New Zealand lady about your point of view. I just shared your comments on facebook page. Here are her comments below.
“Debbie Crump If this persons blog is anything to go by, then he is not just myopic of mind, but seriously in need of a good meal of milk and meat! His ramblings are not dissimilar to those of members of the various Vegan Activist Cults. Carry on good people with the great work in promoting the great value of the camel for milk and meat, sad souls such as this, do not warrant your time or energy”

      6. some comments and re-comments in facebook page. Aileen Kane It’s actually not always sustainable to have a plant based diet. Animals eat plants which people cannot necessarily eat. They can drink water which may not be clean enough for human consumption.
Animals can live on land unsuitable for agriculture.
In fact there are places where cultivation of the land is a less sustainable activity than raising animals for food or even hunting.
The real solution remains with human beings as a species acting to control our numbers, by family planning, and controlling our use of resources as a species.

        Raziq Ark Biodiversity
Raziq Ark Biodiversity yes, you are so right. I have been traveling with the Afghan nomads, their animals drink the water which is not consumed otherwise. The far and wide lands which are unable to cultivate are judiciously used by the animals. Yes, we should resist the factory farming, the way they treat the animals. The animal culture is very sustainable and based on a wide biodiversity and fulfill the multi-dimensional requirements of the human being.

      7. Thank you for taking the time to share those comments with me. Unfortunately, as always, people are unable to have a discussion that doesn’t lead to insult. For starters- plants don’t feel pain, they react to stimuli but they do not have a central nervous system. And if they did, raising livestock means using more plants so if they are concerned with the ‘pain’ that plants feel, they should probably stop eating meat, milk and eggs. Another is an assumption that my diet is highly processed, which is simply not true. And even if it was, my food does not require the life of another creature to be taken, or for them to live life in captivity.
I see no division in asking for people to be a little more compassionate in their choices, in fact I see the opposite. If people made choices based on necessity and not on greed, the world would be a much kinder place. Like I have been saying, those living in the West do not need to rely on animal products for survival, and they are not frequently shown how their ‘food’ gets to their plate. Yes some animals in certain areas do eat plants and drink water that humans cannot consume, but that is not reality for the meat, milk and eggs that people in the West buy- so it seems a little pointless to bring it up. We do not live in hypotheticals, we live in reality. In reality 70 billion land animals are killed every years to satisfy those who do not need their flesh to survive. Many of these animals did not have happy lives, many of them did and trusted their keeper, who betrayed them and sent them to have their throats slit. I cannot comprehend how people find me, and those like me, to be the enemy when we are merely asking for compassion and kindness. Speaking of living, feeling animals as ‘resources’ shows the extent to which humans objectify them and it is no wonder that so many suffer at our hands.
I would never criticise someone for using an animal for survival, either for their meat, milk or eggs. Every living creature has a drive for survival, and I do not ignore the fact that humans have one too. But if you are walking into a supermarket with an abundance of vegetables, fruits, grains, nuts, legumes, etc, you are not choosing food based on your survival instinct. And if you know that one choice necessitates the death and suffering of another creature, and the other does not, why would you choose to cause harm?

  2. @ H.I Simpson yours arguments if agreed all over the world do not you think there would be no space left to live in this world…….human die and born every day naturally or accidentally if this system does not prevail what would happen then? similarly if plants are not consumed by animals ,the world will be over burdened by them only. there is rule ” fittest will survive ” this is natural otherwise big bang will take place. each and every body requires some nutrients ( animal and plants sources) for which they are inter-dependent. this is the rule of nature.
